This paper deals in particular with the formative experiences which the students of the Bachelor's Degree Course in Nursing Dual at the Evangelical University of Nuremberg state in their learning biographies. The research question is: Which formative factors did the students state in their learning biographies? The aim of this work is to develop a category system for the formative factors in the learning biographies of this course from the 175 learning biographies. Methodis: After a material research with the aim to determine the Bergiffsdefinitionen, as well as the examination on an already existing evaluation procedure for shaping factors, the author decided on the basis of the available material for the qualitative content analysis following to Philipp A. E. Mayring. This method was determined to be the most suitable analysis method for the learning biographies. To answer the research question, the author uses all 175 anonymous learning biographies. The students who began their studies in the winter semesters 2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 are recorded. Results: The aim of this work is to develop a category system for formative factors. This is possible due to the structured methodical approach and with the help of the software "MAXQDA 2018". The 175 learning biographies can be used to filter out and categorize the formative factors. In this way, 19 categories are created, six of which are subdivided into further subcategories. Conclusion: By creating a category system, this paper succeeded in recording the formative factors that students of the Bachelor's programme in Nursing Dual at the Evangelical University of Nuremberg have indicated in their learning biographies.
