N2  - Im Beitrag wird diskutiert, wie Professionelle im Bildungs- und Betreuungsalltag und im Kontext sozialer Ungleichheit Kinder und Eltern und auch sich selbst positionieren. Die Interpretation der Daten zweier qualitativ-rekonstruktiver Forschungsprojekte zeigt, dass Positionierungen in unterschiedlicher Weise Ungleichheiten in und durch kindheitspädagogische Settings potentiell (re-)produzieren. Inwiefern Forschung Ungleichheiten nicht nur beschreiben, sondern über die Reflexion der eigenen Positioniertheit auch bearbeiten kann, wird abschließend diskutiert.
N2  - Talking about white bread and sweet lemonade in early childhood education. Positioning in the context of social inequality. This article discusses how professionals position children and parents in everyday education and care settings and in the context of social inequality, and how they position themselves. The interpretation of data from two qualitative-reconstructive research projects shows that positioning in different ways potentially (re-)produces inequalities in and through childhood education settings. Finally, the extent to which research can not only describe inequalities but also deal with them by reflecting on one’s own positioning will be discussed.
