• Hintergrund: Durch die Einführung des neuen Pflegebedürftigkeitsbegriffs aber auch durch den medizinischen Fortschritt, gelten immer mehr Kinder in Deutschland als pflegebedürftig. Pflegende Eltern müssen sich täglich zahlreichen Anforderungen bei der Versorgung ihres pflegebedürftigen Kindes stellen und sind dabei höheren Belastungen ausgesetzt als Eltern mit einem gesunden Kind. Die alltägliche Pflege des Kindes kann neben der Grundpflege auch von speziellen pflegerischen Maßnahmen bestimmt sein und die Eltern sind im Pflegealltag zumeist auf sich gestellt. Obwohl pflegende Eltern insbesondere zu Beginn der Pflegebedürftigkeit einen hohen Informations- und Beratungsbedarf äußern, nimmt die Pflege als Profession bei der Beratung und Anleitung im Alltag von pflegenden Eltern eine eher untergeordnete Rolle ein. Zudem gibt es bisher nur wenig gesicherte Erkenntnisse über den pflegebezogenen Beratungsbedarf von pflegenden Eltern. Fragestellung: Daher wurde folgende Forschungsfrage gestellt: „Welchen pflegebezogenen Beratungsbedarf haben pflegende Eltern?“ Methode: Ausgangspunkt der Untersuchung war ein phänomenologisch-hermeneutischer Forschungsansatz. Für die qualitative Erhebung des pflegebezogenen Beratungsbedarfs von pflegenden Eltern wurden teilnarrative Interviews mit sieben Müttern und einem Elternpaar (n=8) durchgeführt. Zur Auswertung wurde die inhaltlich strukturierende qualitative Inhaltsanalyse nach Kuckartz verwendet. Diese baut auf dem hermeneutischen Erkenntnisprozess auf und ermöglicht sowohl eine induktive als auch deduktive Vorgehensweise bei der Kategorienbildung. Ergebnisse: Es wurden sechs umfassende Themenbereiche zu pflegebezogenen Beratungsbedarfen von pflegenden Eltern herausgearbeitet. Versteckte Bedürfnisse der Eltern und deren Maß des Verstehens der Pflegebedürftigkeit, haben Einfluss auf die pflegebezogenen Beratungsbedarfe sowie die Beratungsbereitschaft der Eltern. Zudem unterscheiden die Interviewten Beratungsbedarfe, welche eher durch professionelle oder durch informelle Beratung gedeckt werden sollen. Schlussfolgerungen: Die Ergebnisse schließen an bisherigen Erkenntnissen an und erklären, wie pflegebezogene Beratungsbedarfe durch den Bewältigungsprozess der Eltern beeinflusst werden können. Zudem machen sie deutlich, wie die bedürfnisorientierte Pflegeberatung durch Begleitung, Empowerment sowie Wissens- und Kompetenzvermittlung dazu beitragen kann, die Bedürfnisse der Eltern zu stillen und die Bewältigung zu fördern. Aktuell kann die in Deutschland verankerte gesetzliche Pflegeberatung diesen Beratungsbedarfen der Eltern nicht in ausreichendem Maß begegnen. Um den Bedarfen von pflegenden Eltern gerecht zu werden, wäre eine bedürfnisorientierte, kontinuierliche und für alle Bedarfe jederzeit abrufbare Beratung notwendig.
• Background: Due to the implementation of the new concept of care dependency, but also due to medical progress, more and more children in Germany are considered to be in need of care. Caring parents have to face numerous demands every day when looking after their child in need of care and are exposed to greater stress than parents with a healthy child. Everyday care of the child can be determined not only by basic care but also by special nursing measures and the parents are mostly on their own in everyday care. Although caring parents express a high need for information and advice, especially at the beginning of the care dependency, the professional care plays a rather subordinate role in providing advice and guidance in the everyday life of caring parents. In addition, so far there is only little reliable knowledge about the care-related counseling needs of caring parents. Research question: "What care-related counseling needs do caring parents have?" Method: The base of the investigation was a phenomenological-hermeneutic research approach. Part-narrative interviews were conducted with seven mothers and one pair of parents (n = 8) for the qualitative survey of the care-related counseling needs of caring parents. The content-structuring qualitative analysis according to Kuckartz was used for the evaluation. This builds on the hermeneutic knowledge process and enables both an inductive and deductive approach to the identification of categories. Results: Six comprehensive subject areas on care-related counseling needs of caring parents were identified. Hidden needs of the parents and their degree of understanding of the care dependency have an impact on the care-related need for advice and the readiness of the parents to get advice. In addition, the parents differentiate between the need for advice, which is more likely to be met by professional or informal advice. Conclusions: The results replenish previous knowledge and explain how care-related counseling needs can be influenced by the coping process of the parents. They also convey how needs-based care advice through support, empowerment and the transfer of knowledge and skills can contribute to satisfying the needs of parents and promoting coping. Currently, the care advice which is established in German laws cannot adequately meet the parents' need for advice. In order to meet the needs of caring parents, needs-oriented, continuous advice that can be called upon at any time for all needs would be necessary.
