• Soziale Medien haben in den letzten Jahren stark an Bedeutung gewonnen. Sie dienen zur Unterhaltung, zum Austausch von Erfahrungen und als Inspirations quelle. Vor allem Grundschulkinder nutzen zunehmend soziale Medien. Durch die Aktualität dieses Themas ist der Zusammenhang zwischen dem Konsum so zialer Medien und dessen Auswirkung auf die Ausprägung des Selbstwertge fühls von Kindern unklar. Diese Bachelorarbeit zeigt anhand mehrerer Studien sowie gewonnener Erkennt nisse der Literaturrecherche den aktuellen Stand der Forschung auf. Dabei lässt sich festhalten, dass die Ausprägungen des Selbstwertgefühls von Grundschul kindern weder messbar noch konkret darstellbar sind. Da es sich um ein relativ junges Forschungsgebiet handelt, fehlen vor allem in Bezug auf Kinder die Langzeitstudien. Trotzdem können gesundheitliche Auswirkungen bei übermä ßigem Konsum von sozialen Medien in verschiedenen Kontexten sichtbar ge macht werden.
• Social media has become increasingly important in recent years. It is used for entertainment, for the exchange of experiences, and as a source of inspiration. Primary school children in particular are increasingly using social media. Due to the novelty of this topic, the connection between the consumption of social me dia and its impact on the expression of self-esteem in children is unclear. This bachelor thesis uses several studies and the knowledge gained from litera ture review to show the current scientific state. It can be said that the expressions of self-esteem of primary school children are neither measurable nor can they be represented correctly. Since this is a relatively new area of research, there is a lack of long-term studies with regard to children and relevant literature about children on social media. Nevertheless, health effects from excessive consump tion of social media can be made visible in different context
